The benefits of concrete can be it versatile application and on the low end is the least expensive option for standard plain concrete. The down side is that in a heavy freeze thaw cycle climate such as ours you risk cracking and settling that can be expensive to repair or replace. There are construction techniques that can be taken to minimize this damage, however this increases the cost and lessens the benefits of this application.
Pavers
Pavers range in price from $10.00 per square foot to $17.00 per square foot on the high end. Pavers come in a variety of colors and styles and can easily be adapted or designed for any setting. The benefits of pavers tends to be the styles and colors in which the product is made. Pavers offer varying styles and layouts that contrast in appearance from traditional concrete, aggregate or stamped options. These choices also come with a cost that is somewhat higher than equivalent standard concrete, and is comparable in cost to aggregate or stamped concrete options. The benefit to Pavers is that is can be easily repaired or replaced at a cost that is a fraction of repairing or replacing concrete.
Paver Tile
Paver Tiles offer a range in price from $5.00 to $25.00 per square foot. Although not all paver tiles are suitable for every application we can design the right tile for any application that fits your budget. Tiles come in a variety of colors, styles applications, can be adapted to any setting. Tiles tend to offer more elegant choices in the upper price ranges which include bullnose steps and coping that is not typical of pavers or concrete. Although Paver Tiles are not a choice of budget conscious shoppers, Paver Tiles can be designed for any setting. Another benefit to Pavers Tiles is that is can be easily repaired or replaced at a cost that is a fraction of repairing or replacing concrete.
